A little bird tells me that the fruit tree and rose planting season could be delayed this year, like we experienced in 2017.
This was due to the ground being so wet and the nurseries not being able to lift plants for bagging and supplying to garden retailers and specialists around the country.
What to do? Dont panic.
But I would say this – make sure you register your order and also revisit the area you are contemplating planting into.
This is a good operating to be prepared for planting too. Make sure you have all the supplies you need, like hard wood tree stakes and ties. In dryer, colder parts of the country - ground snorkels for watering and feeding ready from spring.
