Ken Ring's Weather Almanac for 2013 is a must-have for farmers, fishermen, gardeners, skiers and all who work outdoors.
The 2013 almanac features day-per-page forecasts including gardening advice and moon position information, as well as isobaric, rain potential and frost/snow maps and likely wind activity.
There are biodynamic planting guides for the gardener; there are daily best bite times and bite chance ratings for the fisherman; and there are 70 district graphs of minimum temperatures mapped against rain estimates to warn farmers well beforehand of winter snows, as well as aid skiers with planning.
Former maths teacher Ken Ring is the author of over 30 books on weather and climate in New Zealand, Australia and UK, including his New Zealand Weather almanacs which he has produced every year since 1999. He also runs the Predict Weather website and consults to a wide range of local bodies, event organisers and corporates in three countries.
