THERE IS NO SHAME LIKE PUBLIC SHAME...this country is way to pc your conserned about the feelings of a criminal who has commited a crime aghinst an honest tax paying citizen the more public we are about crime and those who commit crime the less crime there will be its that simple...something like a crime stoppers news paper produced monthly naming and shaming all those who commit crime and if ever my name should be plublished for commiting a crime then SO BE IT,i should not have commited a crime...im not talking about speeding tickets im talking about burglary, robbries GBH crimes and the like the real criminals.
The problem is too much pc crap in this country no one seems to be accountable for there actions anymore.
We pay alot to house criminals in cells with free food free showers free doctor free dentist yet over the last three years i have had to have three of my teeth pulled out because(i cant afford a root canal treetemnt) i earn minimum wage and even getting them pulled at over $200 a pop more than half my weekly wage puts great finanical strain on me.
Yet these criminals sit in there cell and recieve free treatment...treatment which would be better spent on an honset law abiding tax paying citizen like me. I pull my hair out when i think of this situation my country shoving me to the side to pay for treatment of someone who only brings misery to the law abiding people of this country. WHAT THE HELL!!!.

if i had it my way i would bring in chain gangs so at least these people are made to contribute to the cost of there living...There has never been anything wrong with hard labor.
it can teach a bad man good habits like how to get off your arse and work for a change.
i am sick of this current system of soft arse rehabilitation.
These ADULTS made a chioce to commit crime and yet these ADULTS get treated with kid gloves...This country has become so backwards with its policy.

There should never had been Name suppression, ever, for all crime committed; if the are prepared to do the crime, then they deserve to have their name out there. Is it any wonder we have so many offenders up before courts repetatively for their behaviour on a regular basis. They ought to be shamed publicly for their crime in society.Name suppression was not around 25-30yrs ago but once they new money could be made from it, it then came into practice.Todays crime stats prove it.

Name suppression should be removed for any and all previously convicted offenders, regardless of being rich or poor, well known or unknown.

Child abuse offenders should NOT have name suppression, how else are we going to know who to protect are little ones from.. New Zealand is to soft on this type of crime, which makes me so angry.

I'm going to say it again: if having their names published is going to cause some sort of troubles for them maybe they should not have done the crime.

There should always be the option for name suppression. While name suppression is sometimes granted to protect rich families, it is also used to protect poor families. The option should always be there. Name suppression is not only used to benefit the criminal.

Name suppression is for the Elite type chosen few. Why in the world would you suppress the name of someone with a sex offence? So he can freely keep doing it? Because the judge is just as corrupt and does it himself? It makes you wonder why your status in the community effects your sentence. Society is screwed but no-one sees it.

And if it's not a serious crime do these guys really need name suppression? Probably not. In my opinion we should do away with name suppression altogether; these people are LAW BREAKERS, they have no respect for the law and the law is too soft. Name suppression is completely unnecessary, if having their names published is going to cause some sort of troubles for them maybe they should not have done the crime.
