If Tamaki was Islamic, would the same sort of criteria apply? Why is it that there are MORE churches in NZ than there are hospitals?Hasn't the human species got beyond bullshits like religion and all the other cults and superstitions?
Eru WilsonWhat on earth are you raving on about Eru Wilson...Are one of those so called Pharisees who attend a boring church or not.??...You would not even understand the fullness of Gods word when it hit you in the face. Dont tell me you know the bible through and through. Quoting scripture only make you look like a hypocrite. The next scripture you should be reading is.."Judge not lest ye be judged," Its in your bible somewhere..
Gee Willie did write this racist commentary!Firstly Brian is almost as white as Willie... Willie has the OLD PM mansion in Mangere and Brian has one also. The difference is that Brian does not go on and on about the injustice of being part Maori and has the balls to survive by getting handouts from his chosen people and not from the state. Willie would like to make this a Maori v European problem. I agree "Pakeha" is a derogatory term if you let it. Willie's mates must be "Yes men"...amen.

Unfortunately mr tamaki the way in which you live your life is contrary to many simple bible principles. An honest hearted study of the WHOLE bible in context makes that blatantly obvious.Case in point read MARK 10:17-22 and you wil find that a wealty young ruler was so impressed by JESUS that went to meet him, knelt before him and asked "teacher what must i do to inherit everlasting life? Jesus replied in v21 that he should sell all he had and give it to the poor and follow him. Thus jesus was testing the mans real heart motivation. The result in v22....the young ruler grew sad at what he had heard and went away. Lesson...he was unwilling to give up his material possesions to be a follower of jesus..note that jesus however didnt ask all who wanted to be his followers to give up their possesions to become his followers. That is how we know that jesus was testing the young ruler...mr tamaki...are you willing to give up YOUR possessions if need be?...do you need them in order to follow jesus?.....NO YOU DO NOT.requesting your follwers to give to god...if you dont you are robbing god!!!!!!! emotional blackmail?so mr tamaki are you gods tax collector? It seems as if that is what you are doing...how then sir are you passing these DONATIONS? on to thier rightful owner.......GOD!!Thank you for your time.....time which i beleive you should use to undertake a proper indepth study of the bible with the aim of sanctifying GODS name (yes god does have a name) and learning how to live as JESUS did NOT learning how to live as movie stars do...The key words when looking at JESUS...love and humility both of which you are failing to disply.Thank you again for your time.Eru Wilson
Brian Tamaki said on Close up tonight, you don’t have to give money to God and you don’t have to Tithe. But he also says, if you don’t then you are robbing God and your not serious about your faith. So basically, under that logic, if you don’t tithe or give to God, then you are a thief because you are robbing God and everyone knows that a thief is a bad person. Brian also said, that if you do not give money to God or tithe then your not serious about your faith, which also equates to a bad person, because what sort of person would not want to be serious about their faith. We can only but trust that God is watching and is the ultimate judge of a persons actions.
brian tamaki has turned peoples lives around and he's profited nicely from it.What about the families that have ben torn apart due to destiny church? Its not his affluence that gets up my nose or the fact that he is maori but the fact that he seems to be using christianity as a tool to further his business. He may have helped people but he's sure done ok for himself in the process, and if he is so full of charitable goodwill why does he choose to live his lavish lifestyle when there will always be people in need.He preaches the parts of the bible that suit his needs and ignores any that dont aid his profit margin. His 'enough is enough' march made him offensive. Brian Tamaki has built a successful business and thats fine, using christianity as a marketing tool is offensive. If he ran his church, helped his congregation, made all his money and stayed off the streets spouting intolerance, no body would be interested in him. He made himself a public figure and he reeks of conman. Anyway it seems the distrust in Brian is multicultural and not exclusive to 'pakeha'. Disrespect to christianity? Hardly seems relevant, Brian does not give the impression of being a christian in any other sense of the word aside from as a marketing tool, who needs Satchi and Satchi when you can use god.
