The owner of Silver Ferns cleaning company says he can't find employees who will last longer than a few days at his company, despite offering $36,000 a year for a fulltime position.

Simon Potter told RadioLIVE's Mark Bennett "I'd like to think we treat our cleaners well. We pay them fuel allowance, they have all their materials supplied. I think we pay them quite well."

Mr. Potter says the few Kiwis he's employed haven't lasted that long and he tends to hear more from migrants looking for work.
