Is there a silver bullet for lifting more of our kids out of poverty?
A UNICEF report on child poverty has placed New Zealand in the lower half of all the OECD economies. The report 'Measuring Child Poverty' ranked NZ 20th out of 35 countries.
UNICEF have criticised government policy, saying that the "ambulance at the bottom of the cliff approach" spending money on remedial services is not enough.
