OK people... we have a winner. All entries correct or otherwise went into the draw and the winner is..... LISA WALKER, who just happenned to identify the creature correctly.

LISA WALKER wins the Attracting Birds To Your Back Yard by Gordon Ell, and a year's subscription to Forest and Bird.

The bird in flight IS A WAXEYE that has flown close to the window and hence seems larger than it would normally. Nice little optical illusion.

Thanks for playing everybody. It had me stumped for a while too.
