We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but what about when you want to really jazz it up? Either for friends or in a professional capacity, what are you favourite breakfasts?
This week I made a croque crumpet and it was pretty jolly good!
What about gorgeous French toast fingers dusted with cinnamon sugar and a lemon curd dip, poached rhubarb with berries or a really good sweet corn fritter recipe?
Let us talk breakfast.
Bangers and Bacon are also a great breakfast treat and Jeremy Schmid is with us talking about his new book – all about making and cooking your own sausages and cured meats.
Freeze dried fruit powders are all the rage – what are they and what do you do with them? This morning we give you tips and hints.
Tony says:
So many of us get really excited receiving beautiful orchids as gifts and sometimes we just like to go out and buy a few to enhance our home interiors.
The big question we often get asked is how to meet the plants alive and flowering. The good news is this weekend we have an expert to help up achieve success.
Big event coming up soon in the beautiful region of Taranaki... yours truly is very excited and even attending, you can join me too. More on the "Powerco Taranaki garden Festival" this morning.
I think we need to learn more about seasonal planting and how to plan for spring without it being a mind chore that sends you into a whirl of frustration over non-flowering bulbs and blooms on trees that blasted off in spring winds. Karen Lowther is a gold medal Ellerslie International Flower Show winner many times over. Listen, listen and learn with us. Pearls for Spring!
Glen joins us in Tui Time this weekend, interesting too as this weekend we get to know more about growing media... all designed to help us all succeed in gardening.
Watch the Tui Time Growing Media Guide to find out more.
Looking forward to your company from 6am.
