Going The Distance trailer
Real-life couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long star in this romantic-comedy about the tribulations of a long-distance relationship. Erin (Barrymore) and newly single Garrett (Long) charm one another one night over beer and bar trivia and so begins a full-fledged summer fling. But, as they always knew, it comes to end when Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett stays put in New York for his job. The six weeks of romping has inadvertently become meaningful though, and neither are sure they want it to end. Despite the opposite coasts, with the help of a lot of texting, sexting and late-night phone calls they might be able to make it work and find a little love. This is the feature debut from Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker Nanette Burstein (The Kid Says in the Picture).
The Expendables trailer
Sylvester Stallone's cameo-filled action film starring himself, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Eric Roberts, Dolph Lundgren, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and Arnold Schwarzenegger. What a line up. The Expendables - a team of hardened war veterans lead by Barney Ross (Stallone) - take on what appears to be a routine assignment: a covert, CIA-funded operation to infiltrate the South American country of Vilena and overthrow its ruthless dictator General Garza. But when their job is revealed to be a suicide mission, the men are faced with a deadly choice that threatens their brotherhood.

Tom Frewen: Today in Parliament

Fewer prison escapes, but increased beneficiaries
Government boasts of fewer prison escapes, while Opposition points to big increase in beneficiaries. Labour MPs delight in rubbishing new consumer affairs minister and ACT deputy leader, John Boscawen, by comparing him unfavourably with his predecessor in both positions, Heather Roy. Commerce Committee hears submissions on the TVNZ Amendment Bill. 26th August 2010.
