Was Chris Carter right?

Was expelled Labour MP Chris Carter correct when he implied that Labour are unelectable under Phil Goff? Goff revealed in a press conference that it was the MP for Te Atatu who had circulated an anonymous letter calling for a leadership challenge in the party, Carter was promptly suspended from the party. Do you, however, agree with the message from Chris Carter and is Goff leading the Labour Party to nowhere?

Phil Goff is washed up, and washed out; he lacks decisiveness, and a sense of purposeness. He's just too SOFT!
The Labour party must hunker down, and refresh and regenerate itself,
it needs a real good clean out, some of the MP's and list members, are way passed their use by date, tired, inept, and really of no use to man nor beast.
Labour needs an injection of energy, sensible ideas, and some MONGROL.

I think Phil Can't win this election because all anyone can see when they look at him is the old labour party. After they loose I think they will fast track Andrew Little up the foodchain to try and get the working class vote back. Chris was right, he just expressed his opinion in the wrong way. I still think national are holding things together better than labour could. A lot of people are quick to forget how bad it was towards the end of their rule

Yeah Carter has a point with Goff.
Phil is an ok guy, but he needs to brush up on the act and not throw lemons at the ruling party.
What political identity is Carter going to form, now that he is out of the labour party?
Maybe the Pansy party and run for Ponsonby?
More like a one way bus ticket out of town.

I'm a JT FAN because he is not a puppet to the labour team he was in.
The left wing of labour should join the Greens and the right side should team up with Winston and Laws. JT must stay on Radio live and if JT left to become an MP, willie, the racist, must be taken off Radio Live. Maori TV and Radio is the only place for this boy. Gee Helen left the kids on their own when she turned her back on NZ. She was no Mother twas Helen!

It concerns me that when you voice your opinion against the leader. You get sent down a path that leads to being kicked out of the party. I can understand getting kicked out of Caucus. But I think its a bit draconian to have the party kick you out. No wonder no one else is brave enough to join the cause. Wait and see what happens when someone points out the world is round. Then sparks will really fly.

Not a huge suprise that Mr Carter has exausted his time in parliment...He is wrong about Phil Goff though he is doing really badly in the polls but Labours policies are far more substantial than the opposition to lead the government and iwi... unfortunately voting is a personal choice so guess until the iwi of NZland are ready for change then it is brakes on and we all go steadily down hill.

I think that John Tamihere would be an asset for Te Atutu he would do a better job as a MP than would Chris Carter regardless of the fact that Chris Carter is open gay.John Tamihere with his experience as MP would do wonders and would listen to his electorate constituents and help them with their problems whereas Chris Cater didn't and could care a toss.
