Want to donate aid to people in Haiti?

To donate aid, here are just a few of the agencies who have already set up appeals, more will be added in due course:

People can donate to the appeal by:

* Making a secure online donation at www.redcross.org.nz
* Donate online at www.givealittle.co.nz/haiti
(who are working in partnership with Red Cross for this appeal)
* Sending cheques (made payable to New Zealand Red Cross), to the
Haitian Earthquake Appeal, Red Cross House, P O Box 12140, Thorndon,
Wellington, 6144
* Making a donation at any New Zealand Red Cross office throughout
the country


UNICEF NZ

UNICEF NZ has launched an emergency appeal in response to the devastating Haiti earthquake.

People can make a donation by calling 0800-800-194 or online at www.unicef.org.nz


World Vision

New Zealanders are asked to urgently lend a hand and make a donation by calling 0800 80 2000 or pledging $30 through their Telecom account by phoning 0900 4 HOPE. Alternatively donations can be made via the website: www.worldvision.org.nz.


Oxfam
To donate to Oxfam's Haiti Earthquake Response please call 0800 400 666 (24hours), to make an automatic $20 donation call 0900 600 20 or visit www.oxfam.org.nz to donate online.


cbm New Zealand
cbm New Zealand will be sending assistance to help the thousands of people affected by the earthquake in Haiti. cbm has supported projects in the country since 1976, five of which are based in Port-au-Prince, providing assistance for children and adults with disabilities.

To help those in need in Haiti, call 0800 77 22 64 or 9 414 9405 from within New Zealand. Or donate online at www.cbmnz.org.nz

Your gift will help:
• ensure those with a disability access the rehabilitation they need
• help persons with disabilities who survived
• rebuild lives for those with new disabilities
• prevent avoidable disabilities among sick and injured due to poor sanitation and unclean water sources
• enable ongoing rehabilitation after the initial emergency response – cbm is there for the long haul.
