Vania Stambolova "stumbles over" in women's 400m heat

By Duncan Wilson

This is no joke. Heat 1 of the women's 400m hurdles at the Olympic Stadium in London and an athlete took an unfortunate tumble.

Such is the overwhelming nature of the Olympic Games, that a fall in a hurdles race is a pretty non-event.

That is until you learn of the poor athlete's name:

Vania Stambolova.
