Red Bull Stratos, the team behind Monday's "jump from the edge of space" featuring Felix Baumgartner, have released footage of what the expert skydiver saw during part of his freefall.
Making the leap from 39km above the Earth's surface, Felix experienced 4:19 of freefall, notching up a top speed of 1,137 km/h.
The jump sees Baumgartner potentially take out three world records:
- Highest ever manned balloon flight;
- Highest ever skydive;
- First person to break the sound barrier unassisted.
