It's a national holiday today. Labor Day is observed to give credit to workers across America. Federal, State and Local offices are closed. Schools are out. Hurricane Isaac hit 5 days ago but parts of Louisiana are flooded out. Thousands are not able to return to their homes. Rain from Isaac is coming down in places affected by the severe drought. For many, it's not happening in time to save crops. A New York man is accused of attacking his daughter with acid. The acid burned through her clothes and skin. New polling numbers are out as the Republicans take stock of their now-completed convention, and Democrats get ready for their meeting in Charlotte North Carolina.
