The Dictator makes Helen Clarke and Christchurch jokes - Video
Funny movie maker Sacha Baron Cohen has referred to Helen Clarke being male and joked that proceeds from his new movie 'The Dictator' will go to the the Christchurch Earthquake Recovery Fun in a promo video posted on YouTube.
The Ali G, Borat and Bruno star last week told of his poor experience flying Air New Zealand on Australian TV, in character, of course.
Today I urge you to stop what you are doing, cease your binge drinking, stop killing kiwis to make delicious fruit, and stop making silly laws prohibiting the use of the most excellent resource nuclear power," jokes the fictional leader of the fictional country Wadiya.
"Today you must do only one thing, make plans to attend the opening of my film The Dictator."
"All profits will go the Christchurch earthquake recovery fund ... and will definitely not be used to build me a new Palace in Wadiya."
'The Dictator' gets its New Zealand release on Wednesday.
