Sun spits out huge solar flare - Video

Video taken on March 2, 2012, shows a new active region in our sun. Three solar flares were emitted by the star between March 2 and 4, said to be the largest emittance in five years. The flare is said to be growing as it travels outwards from the sun. The effects are said to reach earth later tonight and may cause issues with some electrical equipment.
