The importance of skiers and snowboarders wearing helmets has been highlighted at an inquest into the death of an Australian man who fell 2 hundred metres down an icy slope in the Mount Cheeseman area last year - Martin MacFarlane, Lead Neurosurgeon at Christchurch Hospital explains how they help.
