Should we legalise cannabis?

Kids today already think that having a beer is as normal as having a cup of tea,id much rather my kids get stoned and relax than drink and make a dick of themselves.

YES we should legalise finally,but if you dont want to pay tax on it you should go back to the bush you came from and stop using all the great things the white man brought to this island,and you dont own the beaches and foreshore,some of your ancestors swapped some land for booze and that does not mean you own this whole country,so get over it!!!!

I think it deffinitly should be legalised!!!! Really how is it that much different to alcohol? Apart from the fact that you smoke less to get the affects of drinking alot of alcohol! Just set the same lines of laws as alcohol, such as no smoking and driving. Generally cannabis is used for a relaxant or socially. No harm in that :) so deffinitly time to legalise it and worry about more harmful drugs such as P.

Yes the government should legalise weed. Weed is hardly a drug. Our NZ government need to follow a more modern approach towards cannabis. There is no known case of death by marijuana and it is less addictive than alcohol. Matter fact, if u weigh in the overall risks, dependency and harm caused by alcohol vs weed, we know which one is clearly the winner. How is a a fucked up drug such as salvia legal and cannabis is not? All I see is corruption and NZ just following backwards US policy on MJ.
