what is it when they say The coastline will be put into a ‘public domain’ – no one will own it
of course someone has to own it the goverment owns it just by putting it under public domain so everyone can use it but the goverment still own the foreshore and seabed

Bron's: I come from a bloodline that has a directline to Cheif Hone Heke (not the soninlaw) I have read many historical books and been told many stories from my elder's I speak from my own whakapapa's knowledge..There was never intention in 1840 to become legally bi-cultuure that is why the war in 1860 between the 2 culture's fought against each other..there still is No bi-cultural in law today..we are still monocultural in Law.
