I don't see why things won't change now, given the horrific circumstances of this killing. We've had it pretty good in NZ for a while now, but it's time to wake up and join the rest of the world in having nutters out there that will do mindless things like this, with no motive.

So if the woman tries to attack you then as a male vs woman situation you are more likley to overpower your attacker...simple ok do you understand this...im not trying to be macho im using common secense to a situation!!!...and as to letting a person in a suit sit in the front with you...well how many attacks do you heare about that include a man in a suit...common scense says that a man in a suit had to have money to buy that suit therefore has money to pay for taxi ride...again common scense...please mate tell me you understand what the heck i was trying to say????...cus if you dont understand this easy thought train then you need to upskill mate this is 101 common scense..too easy mate.

and i look to both sides in order to know what middle is..to know good one has to first know bad in order to know good...correct..as we must have something to judge the good aghinst to know that it is indeed good...correct...one does not and can never exist first without the other...correct...this is the way of the buddah to reckonise the good and the bad yet to offer no reaction to the good and the bad ...but yet to reckonise that one cannot exist without the other so to have balance in life one must live in the middle not letting happiness rule and not letting sorrow rule but to simply see things as they are to see the truth in the action! this is the way of buddah as i understand it in a general way????

Hi Thanks for those who think so much about drivers i also thinks shield must put in all taxis and govt should give approval asap.
But iam just can't understand why people is using bad words in their comments say idiots, stupid to each other in their comments its just not right, its a time to give moral support to family who lose their very special person, think about kids who will not be able to see their dad again think about pregnant wife who lose her most important person in life, her life become hell, think about mum whose son died. No one asking to give any one to support financially for shield but i can't understand why you not go against the dol been paid to criminals and most of the people who just do not want to work thats money is also our tax money.
Some people comment that they earn only 400 dollars (remember money can't buy happiness). so enjoy what you got. I also earn same as you but iam happy i got happy family thats what everyone want (not money.)

Maybe I've watched too many movies... but the bullet proof glass in the middle of the front and back-seats seems a good idea... Wouldn't cost much... And maybe arm them with blue spray paint... So if the cheeky guy/s run off hopefully the driver could get some blue spray paint on his clothes/face make him easier too see and catch... If not it would ruin his night out with blue spray paint on his going out clothes....

Mate your an idiot the context was about self defense...if a woman sitting in the front seat of a taxi attacked the driver then the law STATES that the driver is allowed to use resonable force in SELF DEFENSE...learn how to read english mate...you must be bloody stupid to think that i would outright attack a woman!...as this is aghinst the law DUHHH
