Clarke turned out to be an complete ar*se. He's been engaged to her for two years and then a photo she clearly didn't want taken or distributed gets out there and he dumps her, what a pig. His parents sure raised a nice guy! And sportsmen wonder why people think they're a bunch of w*nkers. MMMmmm I wonder why?

Let the guy sort his life out, forgoodness sake. Aussie or no Aussie I feel sorry for the guy. For the stupidity surrounding this...Leave him alone it is no-ones businss but his.

Sad that such a pretty girl seems to find it necessary to target married men; commands ultra expensive items from them, states in public that she finds cricket boring; though it helped provide a very expensive engagement ring and a Aston Martin that she "misplaced" in less than decent circumstances. Also the three year old photo those close to the footballer states firmly he has not seen or even thought of in years - appears in print - totally unlikely Lara will sue - more likely it is part of a publicity campaign promoting herself - which she does very well. Just hope she divorces her focus from cricket totally as it is damaging to game to have such sordid associations. Feel sorry for the real wives who suffer from the fall out.

It amazes me that these so called celebrities look to there own kind for relationships ,like some select club of insecure pimps and scrubbers.Hollywood does it too.Why would any one want to go out with a second hand tyre.If I was choosing a potential life partener I wouldnt pick one that he been screwed by and screwed with by all ensundry. How embarassing these celeb bashes must be.Like some f..k club.Bingle looks like some punched out old porn star?

why is there interested in this debate? are we discussing the wonderful keenness he has to aid his partner/ex-partner in her time of stress or is it simpley the normal kiwi obsession with putting an Aussie down during a sporting encounter.

If the relationship is real and they are truly committed to being together and having a family and buidling a life, then he should be with her. It's pretty clear from the shower picture that she wasn't posing for those photos at all and so didn't ask for them to be out there and it has clearly caused her some stress.
After all when your cricket career is over are you going to have a baby with Ricky Ponting? Or build a life with Mitchell Johnson? Sit in the evenings cuddled up to Ryan Harris, talking about your future? I don't think so. Your family and relationship have to come before your job, when something extremely unusual and/or stressfull arises.
However if it's a fly-by-night grab the spotlight kind of relationship, he should get back to the team and play.
Like all jobs there must be provisions for sick leave etc in his contract.
