Why would all the BHS(Burnside High School) should be prosecuted from the facebook? I mean there is no point that you can ban the facebook page. I mean I am one of the BHS students but the people above me is just crazy about this whole thing. It's just BHS's Principal. what can he do? He bloody calls the cops to stop them, such a chicken. Everybody has to understand is that there is no perfect world out there. When you go to new school, of cource you get picked on you, of cource you dont have a friend and most of all they dont even know you. But for this statement, the new principal just came to BHS and had to change nearly every rules about BHS's old rules from Principal Nordik. He did just fine in the school, maybe there was a wee bit of bullys in the school but the new principal made it worse for the students, there is more bullys, more smoking brats and most of all more drug users in the school time!!! AND bringing alcohols at school in the toilets at period time. I mean there wasnt like that few years ago, but now BHS is nearly one of the worst school ever now. So the people who wrote things about the new principal on facebook has the right to comment about this mager chaos. So think about it people before you say that the BHS students are wrong or the over reacting adults and the scared principals are wrong???

kick the little brats out of school and teach them a lesson. There are consequences to life's actions.

Seems to me we've strayed from the topic folx.... (see that, thats a txty thing that i've ingeniously inserted to get you to see that you're banning rock n roll music again... ) The ridiculous idea from Angela the Nazi that kids are somehow learning work protocol, makes me believe that she doesn't actually have a job, or that shes not very good at the one she has.... School isnt work, works work and work is shite... school is good because you have a chance to think rather than perform a repetitive, menial task, and receive a paycheck... you get to discover your strengths and get to have opinions, you get to love teachers, and hate teachers... and i hated some of mine... BUT I learnt shit (or is that learned?). This isnt about bullying or self harm... its about some kids saying the new headmaster sounds like hes gonna be a w****r .. and he might just be.. thats all... Its the quiet ones you want to worry about... eh Angie?

i fully agree with Bev, the Principal is using his power to deal with the problem, yet when students are bullied the teachers and Principals say well what do you want us to do about it? Or say that the students have to learn to deal with it. This is a huge problem in our schools students should not be told to just deal with it. All that will happen is if the students try to confront their bullies it will esculate and will result in violence and /or self harm or worse.

Steve, I agree 100% that freedom of speech should be upheld. But I think this is a defamation issue. Defamation law is supposed to protect people from "false and malicious" comments, which is what was posted on the facebook page. The problem with facebook is that posts are published and available to anyone with a computer, essentially the same as a newspaper publishing. Publishing defamation on facebook is libel.

I apologise for that spelling error filled piece I just sent…I got my education…for free!
Call the cops you say Angela?...What a little Nazi you are!
Yes the Police do have a job to do, but it isn't enforcing your small minded political correctness! it is not to play surrogate parents!
It is to catch real criminals who actually violate other peoples rights via initiations of force!
It certainly is not to suppress criticism of teachers and other state minions.
And as for you silly Idea that education is free?
No doubt you un-questionly swallowed that socialist chestnut before you used your first vote to empower these rapacious busy bodies who rob us blind with taxes and then use the cash to indoctrinate our nation with racism and anti-freedom Nannyism aye...so you could kept receiving your 'free education' aye? Do you pay Taxes? Why do I think you are an anti smack nutter...probably on the state payroll working as some PC enforcers?
