*Thing of the week
Very cool things for the women gardeners, you;ll just have to wait and see….
*Plant of the week
Quercus robur fastigata or Upright Engligh Oak.
This is a brilliant choice for planting against big building as it reaches 10 metres with a circumference of only 2.5 metres. Great for narrow planting and formal settings.
*Design tip of the week:
When planting a narrow garden ether side of your driveway remember that doors on cars need to clear the plants and occasionally the plants might get trampled if the width of the drive is particularly narrow.
Use narrow upright plant varieties with decorative gravel or creepers on the fence like Star jasmine to still give you the green lush look without compromising space.
