Photos of mirrors that look like paintings, The Edge Effect by Daniel Kukla

By Duncan Wilson

Artist Daniel Kukla hiked out into the wilderness with a huge mirror and easel in order to create these fantastic images.

Calling it "The Edge Effect", Kukla said he spotted the "confluence of terrains" while out in California's Joshua Tree National Park.

"Using a single visual plane, this series of images unifies the play of temporal phenomena, contrasts of color and texture, and natural interactions of the environment itself," he says, which is basically artist's speak for "Check out my artwork. It is awesome!"
