Michael Laws speaks to social development minister Paula Bennett about the case of Ngaire Kura Tukiwaho and the accidental smothering of her two-month old son in her car.
The minister explains the background to the lady's case and agrees that Tukiwaho is completely unfit as a parent.
Tukiwaho was sentenced to two years in prison yesterday for the death.
Child, Youth and Family have been asked by the minister to investigate the woman's situation, including the status of her other children.
