Painting the house - listener reno continues

By Natalie Amadio - Design & Build Show listener We are still busy painting, trying to get little bits here and there done in the evenings and on the weekend in between looking after baby. The walls are pretty much all 'Haasted' few spots just need a touch up/ extra coat but we are so pleased with how it looking. Especially against the floor tiles by the front door, that we initially wanted to get rid of, but we actually quite like them now! Next step (that we are planning to complete before we leave on holiday) is painting all the trim including the wooden balustrade . All the old flakey paint is now removed exposing the nice wood underneath. It seems a shame to cover it back up after all our hard work removing it, however it doesn't tie in with the overall look we want to achieve. Very excited about starting with the Sandfly Point and seeing the finished look come together! There will be more updates this Sunday on the Design & Build Show on RadioLIVE 6am-9am
