PHOTOS: Prince William and Kate Middleton in the Solomons
As lawyers for Britain's royal family prepared to wage war against the French magazine that published those topless photos, Prince William and wife Kate Middleton were being greeted by thousands of Solomon Islands locals.
Making the visit as the official envoy for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the royal pair have two days in the Solomons, before their next stop, Tuvalu.
Greeted by Pacific warriors, the pair have been subjected to an island that is truly feeling the excitement of a royal visit, with one place offering "free ice cream" ("4 William and Kate").
Stay tuned to RadioLIVE to hear Lucy Warhurst's updates on the royal visit.
