NZ women outrank men in IQ tests

Woman and man face off

For the first time since testing began a century ago, women have beaten their male counterparts for IQ. And it appears that New Zealand was amongst the first places it happened.

Having trailed men by as much as five points in the past, women have been narrowing the gap in recent years, reports The Mail.

According to data collation by James Flynn, women in New Zealand, along with Estonia and Argentina, have recently scored marginally more than men. The differences, however, were negligible in western Europe, the US and Canada.

Do you believe women have a higher intelligence capacity than men, and are only just realising it?
