Ewing interviewed Kirsty Hewitt a participant in the NZ cycle race. The first ever Tour of New Zealand cycle race is happening on 14-21 April 2012. It’s going to be an unforgettable journey, taking in some of New Zealand’s most iconic scenery. Teams cycle either the North Island (638 km Cape Reinga to Wellington) or the South Island (687km Bluff to Picton), converging in Wellington for a final race around the Beehive on April 21st. As one of the three official charities of the Tour, Hikurangi has entered a team of special guest riders on both islands.
