Is Mel Gibson forgivable for his hate-rant?

You do have to wonder what the back story behind all this is. How often do we see older rich/famous/celebrity guy and a (much) younger woman in a troubled relationship? Whether it's an ex All Black getting himself entangled with some young groupie or the likes of Paul McCartney and Heather Mills etc etc. There's plenty of such examples. Ordinarily I suspect these younger women wouldn't be at all interested in a guy the same age as her Dad (or older!), and I suspect the likes of Oksana wouldn't give Mel a second look if he was just an ordinary middle-aged bloke with a ordinary day job and a house in the suburbs. Fame by association, and of course money - wealth by association are strong attractants. The word 'golddigger' comes to mind. There are no shortage of predatory women and gullible older guys in those circles. Mels rants certainly seem quite extreme and quite appalling - but I really do wonder what the context is? I'm thinking that for him to become THAT enraged there's gotta be much more to this story than we are currently being told, and the fact the she has clearly premeditated these recordings strongly suggests some kind of set up. Has the trap been set, and has Mel simply stumbled blindly into it... ? While I wouldn't condone his outbursts I rather suspect there's a lot more to this story.

Wow! The ladies like Mel eh? It seems they are saying he was set up, hmmm, I wonder if they would say the same thing if he didn't look as good in a kilt in Braveheart... a school girl crush looks like it goes a long way for Pamela and Lyn.

He said the words, he threatened to kill, he is an arrogant, self-absorbed bully that believes his own hype. Set-up? Nope.

I won't even get into his odious religious bigotry or his racism, they speak for themselves.

Absolutely disgusted with Mel Gibson's comments, however, I beleive she has set him up. She needs to set herself and the baby up financially. What better way to do it. She is the one hard done by - Yeah right!!!!!!

Mel Gibson will bounce back... He has been set up for sure. I do not condone what he has done but we have only heard one side of this saga. It appears the recordings have been dubbed over a period of time because she knew she was on the outer. I would like to know how come she got him so rarked him? It's a bit fishy.
