Investigating teacher Rachel Whitwell

Teacher Rachel Whitwell is under investigation by the Teachers Council for appearing in nude and topless photographs on the Australian Penthouse website. Does this affect her ability to teach and is this investigation fair?

I went to school with her and this does not surprise me. I feel repulsed that someone could be a role model for children, have a child themselves and go out with the biggest low life scum. I remember this guy - he wanted to make the first porno with a pregnant women. At the end of the day what goes around comes around.

What a load of crock! This wanna-be left her husband AND HER CHILD to shack up with Mr Porn - and had no second thoughts about it. she has also appeared in other mags naked and written suspect shit. She is not a decent loving mother or a good teacher. Wake up people. Yep, her body is good for her age (though she has had a bad boob job - a little to 'lumpy' for me!) but give her a couple of years and that will be be down the bog and her kid is still left wondering why 'mummy took off'. Explain that to her kid! Skank plus!

I think this whole topic is ridiculous why should Rachel be investigated she seems like she is a good teacher and is a great mother leave the poor woman alone too many people judge and they should look in their own back yard before judging others.

what a shame rachel has been treated so appalingly!
i am a 23 year old mother to a 5 year old and a 2 year old i am also pregnant with number three baby....i honestly would not mind if she taught my children,we all do things r18 in our own homes.so long as the children dont see it then she has done nothing wrong!
and come on...its not like children read r18 material!
i say she has every right to stick to her guns and she shouldnt be struck off as a teacher

i think that the only problem is because of her boyfriends status which is riduclous she hasn't slept with a pupil or hasn't broken any laws so whats all the fuss about.shes a very good looking lady that wanted to show off her body, good on her i say

There are plenty worse things done by teachers out there that go unpunished! The teachers council is just testing the legislation here and she is the first opportunity for them to do that. What else can we expect from a state better geared to get money from its people than to protect them?

LOL a lot of haters on this topic. subversive misogynists if ever i came across any.the head of the teachers council needs to be sacked plain and simple... and if you haters respected teachers and held their jobs to such a high standard that you claim she must up hold then you would pay them more and stop complaining about them having long holidays but you types cant stand in the light you cast on others. shame on you. you know you will be judged eventually & it all comes out then !

I think the topic here is not whether shes good looking, or wishes to get back at her boyfriend or even about her choice in modelling but whether this effects the children in our schools, remember children learn by example ,boundaries and good ethical morals/values. in any century we still want to encourgae that not loose that to personal desires.
If this teacher wanted to pursue a career in modeling for penthouse or erotica events then thats her choice, but she decided on a career in teaching and that means sacfrice in itself and dedicating yourself by example as good role models for our children.
perhaps the issue should be decide which career your suited too before you make a commitment!
