Do we know the full Heather Roy-ACT story?

Just one week after being demoted as ACT's deputy leader, Heather Roy was back in Parliament. She last week described ACT leader Rodney Hide as a bully; this week she says she can work with him. The return even came as a bit of a surprise to some members of the party.

What is going on in ACT and with Heather Roy?

Act is an unbearable party to even think about with Rodney Hide at the helm. I think they need a change of leadership for sure, and Heather Roy would be a good choice. She's not as offensive as Rodney Hide.

Taz ..I'm sure she could tan your hide as well. The girls on the night shift would find her good competition. Everbody looks the same when the lights are off!

She looks like a cartoon ciracture, don't you think? Her whole face looks exactly like one that belongs in a cartoonist's catalouge. Dose anyone else think so. Personally, know absolutely nothing of her, and after watching her last night, still don't. But good on her, for taking a stand, and good luck to her for continuing doing so!

Very hard to know these things but previous commentator Andrew is probably right. It's the whole story and entire context none of us know. I'm fairly sure Act know Rodney is a huge liability now. I just can not see things staying with him as the leader. Or certainly not if they've done some polling. Heather Roy shows guts in coming back. I have a feeling that she or somebody else will lead Act into the 2011 election.

Maybe she should seek a job in Labour... They need a friendly face.. And look at the publicity she and act have got negative and positive in ways too... More publicity than labour has had in the last two weeks... Chris Carter well that has been a negative for both party and Chris... Labor should offer their hand to her if Rodney Hide and ACT dislikes her that much she must be doing something right....

i have to assume that Heather has heard from alot of ACT supporters over the past few days giving her their support and urging her not to give in to Rodneys shadey little ways and bully tactics and has decided to meet him head on. i have no faith in the announced truce between them , can you imagine these two just letting bygones be bygones? they may have shaken hands but you can guarantee one had an ice pick and the other a letter opener in their left hands

She doesn't look or act like someone that is easily bullied so why the "I don't feel safe" act, that's right she is a low life politician and she will stoop that low to get what she wants, but now she feels safe, warning, warning don't have casual sex with this woman.
