In my line of work i talk to a lot of young, old,and middle age people. And nearly all young 18 to 20 year old i spoke to voted Winston on the strength of the Teapot saga.People just don't like false idols.

I have to agree with Winston Peters... John Key should stop wasting taxpayers money and stop the police investigation.. I voted for Winston only because I couldn't trust Key to do the right things for New Zealand. Key is such a bad prime minister, I looked for someone else to vote for.. I still shudder to think I voted for that wall street trader in 2008.

I have to giggle about this. Labour supporters getting all upset about this kind of stuff when they should be concerned about their own Party. This was a total non-event, and Labour wasted so many good opportunities to talk about policy as a result when they had the media ear pre-election. Perhaps they were pointing at this because they had no policy except the suicidal CGT? Mind you, now that the Labour caucus can fit into a minivan perhaps minor parties like this shouldn't get any coverage at all.
