Grey water, drought tolerant plants and cooking with blue cheese

This weekend, I'll be talking 'grey water'. What is it? Where can you use it in the garden?

Helen looks at recipes with blue cheese and how to make the best tomato sauce. She will also look at the winners of the NZ Cheese Awards, who were announced this week.

I'll be advising you on drought tolerant plants suitable for New Zealand, as well as a look at invasive weed control, without the use of nasty chemicals.

If you have a question on anything above, or anything else, please enter it below and myself and Helen will try and answer it on the show!

Have listened this morning in anticipation of learning about grey water. Such important subject with the cost of waste water when you have a big garden. Sadly we heard lots of recipes. How about part of the session exclusive cooking and part gardening. I have learnt so much from you but cooking not my thing I am sure there are lots of people preferring either or subject. Sat morning always busy and 4 hours of listening in hope of gardening tips and hearing too many recipes frustrating.

I heard that a lady was looking for a way to dispose of used oil. If you add the used oil to a jar or enamel bowl with seeds then it's a great treat for birds - especially in the winter! Just pop out in the garden and they will love it :)
