Very much needed & appreciated hearing this. I have not disagreed with my Doctor's diagnosis of depression but I don't appreciate feeling pressured to take something for it. I Know that it is what I'm going through in my life presently,emotionally & physically from many losses, injuries and an emotionally draining and totally unfulfilled relationship. With having had anaphylaxis with some medications (not anti-depressants; have never taken any)I have a natural aversion to taking anything and your description of how often 'a pill' isn't always going to solve things, in fact will just be something else to get in the way, descibes very much how I feel about my own situation. I found your discussion on this subject very helpful. Thank you.
