Finnish TV takes a pop at Gerry Brownlee, New Zealand
WARNING: Contains explicit language.
Tuomas Enbuske, a Finnish talk show host, takes a pop at Earthquake Recovery Minister Gerry Brownlee, before turning his sights on New Zealand as a whole.
Enbuske was responding to criticism of Finland from Minister Brownlee last week. He said the country has worse unemployment than New Zealand, has a high homicide rate, low education and no respect for women. They were made in response to David Shearer's speech urging New Zealand to follow in Finland's footsteps.
Finland's GDP is around 20 percent higher than New Zealand's, and there are no food shortages. The country's homicide rate is 2.0 per 100,000 people, barely higher than New Zealand's 1.76. Finland does, however, have a higher employment rate at present.
