Ronnie's feijoa load recipe.

Ingredients

1 cup peeled & sliced feijoas
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
50g butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg, beaten

Method

Preheat oven to 180 C.
Place feijoas, sugar, butter and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil, cook gently for 5 minutes and then remove from heat and allow to cool.
Carefully stir in the dry ingredients and egg.
Mix until dry ingredents are just moistened.

Bake in lined loaf pan for 50 minutes.
