Fatal crash on the North-Western motorway - Audio

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on Auckland's North-Western motorway on Saturday night. The four car collision, that happened at Waterview just after 8.30pm, claimed the life of one person, two others were transported to hospital in varying conditions. Police want to hear from anyone who saw a green four door Mitsubishi Galant vehicle travelling east in the westbound lane before the crash occurred. Ewing's producer Jason Beaumont spoke to one of the lucky survivors of the crash, Mr Kanti Patel, and asked him what led up to him being on that stretch of the motorway.
