Duncan Garner has been appointed as the new host of RadioLIVE Drive.
The 3 News Political Editor replaces Paul Henry who departed for Australia earlier this year.
Duncan will start the show on 1st December, leaving the gallery and his position at 3 News.
the General Manager of Talk Brands, MediaWorks Radio, Jana Rangooni, says Duncan will bring a rare combination of news acumen and great personality and flair to his new role.
“Duncan is one of the most entertaining people in the news media, but most people outside the business have yet to see this side of him,” she said.
“He has a wide and varied range of interests, a wicked sense of humour and is a great journalist who is not afraid to ask anyone the tough questions.
“These qualities make him the perfect person to take the reins of the RadioLIVE Drivetime show.”
Patrick Gower will replace Duncan as 3 News Political Editor.
From today, RadioLIVE Business Editor Andrew Patterson will host RadioLIVE Drive and hold that position until Duncan joins the station.
