Do you shop around for milk?

Do you shop around when you buy your milk?

Boutique supermarket Nosh this week slashed their milk prices to just $4 for 2 X 2 litre bottles. The company now says they will keep their prices held until the end of the year.

The cost of milk in New Zealand became a much-publicised political issue last year, with supermarkets finding themselves recipients of some of the blame.

Dairy spokesman Willy Leferink has urged people to shop around, pointing out that some dairies and petrol stations are selling milk a lot cheaper than supermarkets.

Are you keen to help exacerbate the milk 'price war'?

Do you shop around for milk?At first I have found it easy to shop around for milk. But since Fonterra have now decided to drop the price of milk I have decided to get cartoned milk at the local Countdown supermarket and it is a bit cheaper.Purchasing it in plastic bottles became a bit expensive and the price varied. Some dairies I have visited the price of milk per litre was a bit cheaper if it was sold in cartons while others in plastic bottles per litre the price of milk would be a bit expensive .The same applies to the service stations.
