Have you personally suffered from defamation on a social media platform?
Current procedure for defamation involves actively suing the defamer, going through the court process.
The cost of bringing such a case is into the $1000s, making it inaccessible to the average citizen. This leaves the door wide open for cyber-bullies, who can post what they like on social media sites and in public forums and never see redress.
Do we need better protection against such defamations of character? Or even something to better protect our children?
