Cheers to 50 Years

TVNZ is a bit of a joke anyway.

Total garbage and backed by a bunch of second rate producers and so called TV stars who have been around for so long they actually believe the crap which was served up to us for 50 years is somehow called entertainment and should be celebrated. The truth is this stuff is bludy sad and should by printed off and put on a nail in the toilet and exposed to the shit that it is. Excuse me while I kill my self .

Well, lets see what happens with the 'fixer-upper' which (should) air Sunday, June 27. Sad it has to play opposite Prime's production of the same thing though. (I wonder why they've chosen to do that)?

I was so shocked to watch 50 years on TV with TVNZ.I did not know and many of my friends from across the countyr, I was so embarassed as I did not know it was going to be a gameshow/I love the people that were on like David fane and Jason gunn and Simon dallow and Barnett, but I thought it would have been a dedication to tv for 50 years, not a gam show.Hopefuly if we make it to 100 years that it would be better.I am opting to watch the PRIME TV version.

The producer stuffed up here. Due to an inadvertent mistake, the people that were supposed to have been on the stage were accidentally ushered into the theatre seating. The audience was likewise accidentally ushered onto the stage. By the time the curtain was lifted it was already too late to correct the mistake. Good on Jason Gunn for getting on with the show and the good ad-libbing job though. I suggest they refilm the show, this time with the focus on the real stars of the last 50 years.

Agree with Pete B. The show was complete crap, how embarrassing. Who was the obese Maori trying to take off the only genuinely funny comedian New Zealand has ever had "Billy T James"? What an insult. Jason Gun ridiculing the looks of contestants on university challenge. Who's that little midget to judge a person's looks, Jason doesn't even come close to handsome. If this is what TVNZ passes as entertainment these days, they can keep it. A 10yr could of done better job.

I agree with Pete B...thank you for reminding me of how 50years of stupid TVNZ television was...and the Producer of the show should be sacked...what a waste of money.

TVNZ have done a great job over the last few weeks taking us down memory lane in celebrating 50 years. Last nights quiz was a fun way cap it off taking us through the years. Full marks to Jase the Ace.
