Former roadie, Dudley Stace, is interested particularly in two things: travel and motorbikes! He has successfully combined these two interests on numerous occasions. More recently when he took part in an exciting motor bike adventure across Mongolia.
Dudley’s was the first voice you heard on radio bringing news of the Christchurch quake in the early hours of September 4th 2010. Within minutes Dudley was fielding calls from the affected area and was speaking with the authorities who were able to bring to the listeners reliable information. Right through that morning Dudley brought emotional support to callers who were shocked with what had happened.
Then when Cyclone Yassi struck the Australian coast Dudley was able to keep concerned New Zealanders informed of what was happening there especially for those who had relatives and friends in the affected areas.
Radio Live’s overnighter programme aims to keep listeners up with the news as it happens and give comfort to those who find sleep difficult or who are working through the night.
Join Dudley every Thursday-Saturday 1 am – 5: 30 am to hear his regular features on gardening, motorsport, budgeting and interviews along with lively talkback.
