Well, the big political story for the day is the speculation that Michael laws will join Winston Peters in New Zealand First again and run for parliament in the Wanganui seat. That should liven things up again.
The passengers are now speaking out about the late departure of the Pacific Blue flight from Queenstown. By all accounts it was terrifying, with some passengers thinking that they were going to go into the side of the mountain. I think we have all had Queenstown airport experiences like that!

And the British papers are full of shots of the pope who has taken up wearing a baseball cap. Looks kind of cool, but also kind of ridiculous.
Hollywood, having exhausted the cupboard of plots for movies, are now making movies of board games. The latest, – starring Rihanna is Battleships. Yes they are making a movie of the game Battleships.
