Good morning Bruce, You were talking about monks this morning and carrying a burden or a grudge perhaps . I live here in Chrischurch waiting for the next aftershock and met someone yesterday who told me about a lovely old couple in the USA that are unhappy and may be carying a burden caused not by our earthquakes, but something else. I would like you to look at www.sharvin lodge complaints ostrich and also www. sharvin lodge complaints life savings and tell me if you would put down the monk you were talking about.yours sincerely, Bill.

Quakes and resultant volcanoes and Tsunami's could all hit the entire NZ. Why has the Govt not set up a special fund for the economic development and protection of NZ. The Greenies worry about digging up minerals and drilling for oil because it destroys NZ. WEll get used to a few Quakes and resultant outcomes and it makes Greenies look sadly misconceived. Get on with drilling and digging up the minerals and wealth of NZ to develop the economy. Forget it if you are giving it away to the international petroleum and mineral companies for a 5% royalty or to the Maori gifting process. When will NZ wake up to how to improve NZ and its economic stability - or is everyone so apathetic that they prefer to talk all day about when the next Quake will come and how to fund the destruction repairs.

Have you tried getting insurance when a 6.1 aftershock is expected?

I think one of the most important things people have been over-looking here is INSURANCE. It looks like the insured will have to pay twice now, as we have to bail out those that didn't wnat to pay to look after themselves, their business, or their staff. What message are we sending when we bail these folks out? Don't bother with insurance, the tax payer will fix it, again?

If you can't afford to lose it, insure it.
