An impressive first half performance saw New Zealand leading Australia by a goal to nil in Melbourne as the half time whistle went.
However, Australia were by no means beaten, with a 57th minute goal from Dario Vidosic drawing the Tasman rivals level. Brett Holman then struck almost on the final whistle to seal a 2-1 victory for the Socceroos against an unfortunate All Whites side.
