All Saints slice recipe

Ingredients

100g butter
125g malt biscuit crumbs
1 ½ cups dark chocolate chips
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
1 can (395g) sweetened condensed milk

Method

Preheat oven to 180 C.
Melt butter and pour onto base of slice pan, swirl around to coat base.
Sprinkle crushed biscuits evenly over the butter and then chocolate chips.
Next add a layer of shredded coconut and then top with chopped nuts.
Pour over sweetened condensed milk and bake for 25 minutes utnil golden.
Cool and cut into slices.

I think there was too much butter for the amount of biscuit crumbs!!
I will definitely make it again,but this time, melt butter and add to biscuit crumbs before tipping into slice pan and I will aim to have a crumb base of about 1cm and then add the topping ingredients.This may mean doubling or trebling the biscuit crumbs.(depending on the size of the slice tin of course) I've already had great reviews of this slice and have passed on the recipe.
