80 year old lands plane after pilot husband has heart attack - Audio

A story that has come to light out of the United States, is the story of 80 year old Helen Collins, Mrs Collins had to land a plane that her husband John was flying after he had a heart attack and died just minutes from landing. Mrs Collins had lessons to learn how to take off and land about 30 years ago and had to take control of the landing gear to land the plane. Mrs Collins son Jim helped guide his Mother via radio as another pilot took to the skies to help her land safely: Jim Collins joins me from Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin in the United States.
